COBRA 1948 – 1951 : Rebels from Copenhagen, Brussels & Amsterdam united
The international CoBrA movement, which only existed for three years, was considered one of the most significant avant-garde movements in visual arts after 1945. With spontaneous expression at its basis, CoBrA is an embodiment of the regained freedom and vitality of the period after the Second World War.
