Mark Dedrie (1962 Antwerp, Belgium) began his career as a bronze caster, where he perfected the craft while nurturing a desire to create his own work. This led him to sculpt stylized bronze human and animal figures.
Nature has always been Mark’s primary source of inspiration. He draws from observing animals in their natural environment, with their poses, movements, color combinations, and even the way they look sparking his creative insights. His works capture a moment in their simplicity and precision. Over the past 20 years, he has focused primarily on animals, with a special fondness for birds.
Mark Dedrie has gained international recognition, and his sculptures are sold in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and the Middle East.
