LIFE AND ITS PARADOXES
Charles Plétincx was born in Uccle/Belgium on 28 July 2006. His pictorial language creates a realm telling of life and its paradoxes. One in which humans, animals and plants come together. His work is inspired by Aboriginal art, by Pierre Alechinsky, by Keith Haring and by myths and symbols.
STORYTELLING ART
Effortlessly blending figurative expressionism and surrealism, this young, self-taught artist employs sculptural brushstrokes and vibrant colors resulting in compositions full of movement and emotion. Entirely devoted to his creation, Charles Plétincx’ paintings has the ability to tell stories and to evoke an energy that is at once serious and celebratory.
